Privacy policy

Credit Card Guru (ccguru.in) is a free comparison site. You don't need an account, and we never ask for your name, phone number, PAN or any financial details.
What we collect
When you visit a page or click an "Apply" button, we automatically log:
- Your IP address and approximate location derived from it (city, state, country)
- Device and browser details (device type, operating system, browser, screen size, language, user agent)
- Pages you visit, the website or campaign that referred you, and which card's Apply button you clicked
- A random per-visit session ID (stored only in your browser tab's session storage)
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we collect it
- To understand which pages and cards are useful, and improve the site
- To measure which channels bring visitors and referral sign-ups
- To detect fraud, spam and abuse of referral links
Referral links
Some Apply buttons are referral links. When you click one, you go to the card issuer's website, and that issuer's own privacy policy applies to anything you submit there.
How long we keep it
Detailed logs (including IP addresses) are deleted automatically after 90 days. Aggregated counts without personal data may be kept longer.
Sharing
We don't sell or rent your data. It is stored with our hosting provider (Netlify) and used only for the purposes above.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to access, correct or delete data about you.
